what is cantus convivium?

The mission of the music ministry at  ASC is to provide biblically, aesthetically, and historically rich music for worship.  Cantus Convivium seeks to train and inspire all ages to sing and play psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs well. This new program continues our commitment to music education, building on the foundation of children’s choirs and summer music camp, while embracing a vision that celebrates the rich tradition of church music we have inherited!

Read below to learn about three arms of Cantus Convivium:
Schola - Liturgia - Concordia

What is Schola?

Schola (meaning “school”) is a Wednesday evening children’s music education and choir program at All Saints Church, led by our own members. Designed to develop musical skills that enrich Sunday worship, Schola also offers dinner and fellowship for parents, creating a meaningful and enjoyable evening for the whole family.

What is Liturgia?

Liturgia (meaning “liturgy”) is our Sunday morning program that meets bi-weekly during the Sunday School hour. No sign-up is needed—students can simply jump right in! Participants will learn music and skills to grow as worshippers while preparing for Covenant Renewal Worship.

Liturgia begins September 14 at 9:30 am!

What is Concordia?

Concordia (meaning “harmony”) is the new name for our Summer Music Camp. The program continues to train children in the language of music, with a focus on sacred music, and has flourished even beyond Lancaster County. We pray God continues to bless this ministry and our efforts to nurture young musicians.
