Meet the Speakers

Garrett Soucy
Garrett Soucy is the pastor of Christ the King. He and his wife, Siiri, live in Liberty with their 11 children. Garrett was born and raised in Maine and ordained in 2011 when Christ the King was planted. In addition to pastoring, he is a writer and musician.
Kasey Horvath
Rev. Kasey Horvath is the Lead Pastor of All Saints Church, overseeing preaching and pastoral care. A former ice hockey player at Liberty University, he’s originally from New Jersey and enjoys beach time with his wife, Katie, and their four children. Kasey has experience as a pastor and church planter and has been trained in both ministry and counseling. He was installed as the lead pastor of ASC in June 2023, and currently serves on the board of DomNet, the church planting network of the C.R.E.C.
Kendall Lankford
Kendall Lankford is passionate about seeing God’s Word bring revival to New England. A husband to Shannon and father of six, he enjoys graphic design, photography, and videography. A Duke Basketball fan and self-proclaimed nerd, he also dabbles in art, poetry, and music, though dancing is off the table. Kendall is a dedicated bookworm, particularly drawn to Puritan theology, and brings his love for Scripture into his ministry.
Virgil Hurt
Virgil came to Lynchburg from Moscow, Idaho where he studied theology and pastoral ministry at Greyfriars Hall. He earned a BA in Philosophy from Idaho State University and managed Kinko’s Copy Centers in Idaho and Virginia for ten years. Originally from Twin Falls, Idaho he married his fifth grade sweetheart , Katie, and has six children: Rebecca Esmond (married to Simon), Elizabeth Lamont (married to Ian), Zachary (married to Olivia), Anna Landon (married to Tristan), Leah, and Calvin. Virgil and Katie welcomed their first grandchild in November 2016. Virgil served as a deacon and elder at Christ Church, Moscow, Idaho from 1995-2000 and has served as Providence Church’s pastor since its founding in December of 2000.
