01 The Baptism of Jesus

Epiphanytide is the season of divine revelation, when the Church reflects on how God makes Himself known to the world. During this season, we reflect especially to the unfolding revelation of Jesus as the Christ to all people, including the moments when the Holy Spirit opened our eyes to see Jesus for who He truly is. Epiphany is not only something that happened then; it is something God continues to do now.

Following the gospel lectionary from Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan to His transfiguration on the mountain, this series explores the growing clarity of Christ’s identity. Join us each Sunday for this series, “From the River to the Mountain: Epiphanies of Jesus as the Christ,” when we will be invited to behold Christ revealed—and to be transformed by that revelation.
