03 A Faith That Works

In this week’s message, Pastor Kasey explored how faith reshapes our view of status and suffering. James calls both the lowly and the wealthy to glory in their trials, highlighting two main points:

- The Exaltation of the Humiliated – The lowly are to rejoice not in their hardship, but in their high position in Christ. Trials remind them they are beloved children of God and co-heirs with Jesus.

- The Humiliation of the Exalted – The rich are to boast not in their wealth, which fades, but in the humbling reality that trials level us all before God.
